Vantage, a Sydney-headquartered multi-asset broker, has signed Alexandra
Mary Hirschi, an Australian social media celebrity and automotive YouTuber
popularly known as Supercar Blondie, as its Brand Ambassador. The brokerage
firm announced the deal on Wednesday in a statement.

“This partnership marks a milestone between an online brokerage with a
social media publisher, aimed to use their respective expertise to provide
accessible and relevant financial education both on Vantage’s platforms and on
Supercar Blondie’s online education channel, Xplained,” Vantage explained in
the statement.

The unveiling of Supercar Blondie as a Vantage Brand Ambassador comes
six months after the multi-asset broker engaged the celebrity YouTuber’s service during the launch of its environment, social and governance (ESG) programme.

In the statement, Marc Despallieres, Chief Strategy and Trading Officer
at Vantage, expressed excitement at the deal, noting that Hirschi’s
“adventurous attitude, tech-savvy and global appeal makes her a perfect fit” for the broker to raise its brand awareness “among younger and more discerning
audiences.”

“I know her unique presentation style will help demystify trading, and
make it approachable and relevant for all,” Despallieres added.

Hirschi also expressed excitement at collaborating with “a market leader
like Vantage to raise the bar on financial education and strengthen financial
literacy for all.” “Vantage is a company with a big heart and it’s exciting to see the
impact we can make together,” the social media influencer said.

In late 2022, Vantage announced two initiatives targeted at boosting its
business. In December, the top broker added social trading to its mobile app, a
feature its first introduced to its UK traders.

Moneta Markets, which separated from the Vantage Group in September last
year, also recently enhanced its copy trading feature by partnering with third-party copy trading
platform, ZuluTrade.

Meanwhile, in November 2022, Vantage launched Vantage Connect, its institutional
arm targeted at providing liquidity services to institutions and corporates in
the UK. The broker explained that the new arm is its response “to [the] growing
demand among hedge funds, family offices, banks, brokers, money managers and
asset managers for bespoke trading solutions.”
