oneZero Financial Systems, a developer of multi-asset enterprise trading technology, has hired Stephen Totten, the Global Head of eFX at UniCredit, as its Director of Quantative Analysis.

Totten announced his new appointment on Tuesday on LinkedIn. The executive left his old role at UniCredit after 11 years of serving at the pan-European bank.

Totten boasts of about 20 years of financial industry experience. He previously worked as the Portfolio Manager at Citadel Investment Group for over six years. He served the Florida-based investment firm between 2005 and 2010.

Furthermore, Totten worked for Morgan Stanely in a forex-based role for four yeras between 2001 and 2005. The executive holds a Master of Science in Finance from Birbeck, University of London.

Last year, oneZero made a number of top appointments at various times of the year. In July, the trading technology developer hired Yulia Tereshchenko from PLUGIT to take up the position of a Customer Success Manager at its establishment.

Earlier in March, the Boston-based firm promoted Nikolas Aresti to the position of Operation Lead in the Retail Segment. Aresti was previously the company’s Senior Operatons Engineer in London.

Furthermore, oneZero started 2022 by expanding its team with the hiring of Indu Maheshwari as Product Manager and Kevin Verardi as Product Designer. The firm at the time tasked Maheshwari with developing its extensive over-the-counter liquidity ecosystem. It also charged Verardi with building the company’s credit offerings and trading user interface.

Meanwhile, a number of companies last year announced their integrations with oneZero’s trading technology. These include brands such as Nexo Prime and Binance.

In addition, oneZero also recently onboarded Cboe FX and State Street into its EcoSystem. The oneZero EcoSystem is a vast network of brokers, banks, and liquidity providers who partner for liquidity distribution and to gain access to unique flows, with direct market access to exchanges and clearing providers.
