Mia Jili Merritt has been a partner since 1997. A charter partner, she has learned the importance of investing and is grateful for the opportunity to have joined an investment club as a young adult. While pursuing a television and digital entertainment studies certification through the Producers Program at UCLA Extension, Ms. Merritt wrote, directed, produced, and edited her first short film, Second Chance. After college, she quickly expanded her repertoire by working as a production assistant and associate producer on several feature-length films, television shows, and pilots. Currently, she is producing a feature-length film called Dovey vs. Goliath about the true events in the life of Dovey Johnson Roundtree, a civil rights activist and lawyer. Additionally, Ms. Merritt is producing a teen comedy thriller and television series titled Elderflower Ln., under her own company AIM High Production, LLC.
Ms. Merrit is an animal lover, and in her spare time, she enjoys the company of her furry friends Cooper and Midnight, two rescue cats, and her human friends and family. She also finds time to roller skate, ski, scuba dive, attend music festivals, skydive, host game nights, hula dance, exercise, discover new restaurants, and relax at the spa. One of her favorite quotes is, “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” — Robert Brault.
