ROSEZETTA UPSHAW, ESQ

Born into a family of entrepreneurs, Ms. Upshaw is passionate about helping business owners protect and accelerate their profits. With decades of combined experience in business and law, she is a highly sought-after business lawyer and the owner of the Law Office of Rosezetta Upshaw. Her firm offers a full suite of services, including trademarks, trusts, entertainment law, and litigation. Ms. Upshaw earned a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a JD from the University of Southern California. She is a former president of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, Inc. and a lifetime member of the Langston Bar Association. In 2020, Rosezetta was named Lawyer of the Year by the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce and a Top 40 Under 40 Lawyer by the National Bar Association.

Ms. Upshaw is a classically trained bassist who toured globally before attending law school. She also launched an inspirational clothing line with her younger brother, pilot, and Lieutenant Jamar Upshaw, Afro Aviator, to remind us that “The sky is not the limit.” She enjoys traveling, botanical gardens, and hiking with her dog.
