Reddit is showing the way for other platforms. They are actually taking their time to build and are not trying to grab money at all cost. They have taken artists from their own platform and given them this amazing opportunity, people actually love the designs and mix n match feature. They then attracted new people with free stuff (the original free avatars and the sports related freebies). I’m sure they have great plans for the future
